Hello all,

Exactly one year ago, I decided to organize the first Wines & Tapas event, after I decided to stay in Geneva in the long term. 18 people subscribed to the ad in Glocals, and I called 5 of my friends from work just in case nobody shows up:) As you can imagine, I was pretty stressed when I arrived sharp at 7pm… For my relief, people started to arrive immediately, and my friends were late! At the end, we were about 20 people, all incredibly friendly and cool, to have an amazing night (as you can tell from the photos from first night http://www.glocals.com/Gallery/gallery.aspx?GalleryID=353). This has encouraged me to continue and make this party a regular event.

Looking back, I see that the party has touched so many lives, which is the best reward for an organizer. People making great friendships, falling in love, doing all sorts of crazy things after the party (which I cannot disclose here)… These are all definitely worth a memorable 1st anniversary celebration…

All players associated with a team go to that team's marker on arrival... go to Teamless Player holding area if you don't have a team... we'll distribute new players and shuffle the teams to be sure every team has enough women and players... then we play. Try get there by 18:45 if you can!!!

Anyone interested in non-competitive volleyball – just hitting the ball (preferably 3x before going over the net) and get some „fresh“ air (and dust of "crottes de chiens")?

Yet another week, another Wednesday, another Midweek event.

This Wednesday will be a very special event with a THEME and a Birthday girl

THE THEME
Theme is BLACK OR WHITE!
All you need to do is wear something BLACK or WHITE...There will also be a surprise around 11pm.

THE BIRTHDAY
Christine is celebrating her sweet and sexy 16th birthday and she would be happy if we all join to wish her. Lets celebrate in style and get her drunkkkkk...

Apart from this, it will be a usual Wednesday night with a lot of fun and craziness.....

Starts at 7pm as usual with some very light music, chat, mingling and
some drinks. As some people wanna party, then from after 10pm, the music
starts (at a still talkative level) where you can still chill out or
have a bit of a dance if you like.

1) I have got a very good feedback from the peeps and most of them would
like to have the WHOLE bar just for us.

Hi,

Does anyone fancy a night at the outdoor cinema overlooking Lake Geneva. If the answer is yes, or you just fancy watching a film with a different twist then this event is for you.

Suggestion: Film "Get Smart" with Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson. It is an Action, Comdey, Thriller...sort of James Bond meets Austin Powers...laughs, gadgets and special effects.

If you are interested, please turn up outside the cinema at 2045hrs (film starts at 2100hrs). You may wish to purchase your tickets online beforehand to save disappointment.
